The stainless steel 2lb. Marbles Belt Axe with leather sheath is very nice. The marbles axe is a good brand, it was close to being sharp out of the box. This axe is a good bargain! The handle is good hickory and unfinished like it should be. Add some linseed oil to this Marbles belt axe handle and that's all you need. Good quality made in the U.S.A. and also the ones made in El Salvador are nice Marbles axesThe head of the axe was not set well at all and wood is missing next to the wedge. The metal looks good and was easy to put an edge on so we wil see how well it holds up and how soon I need to put a new handle on it.Well made axe, going to need to sharpen it, as it is a ragged edge with a large burr.After six months of light use, my handle snapped in two right down the middle. I have never misused my axe, so this is a very big disappointment. Changed my 4 stars to 2 stars.Nice little hatchet...wish it came super sharp but edge is very goodPicture of the product looks great. Made in USA .....or assembled in US.But customer reviews not give this one consistent five stars and praise.Pricey for small hatchet.Shop around.
